Arkjaatiset Ltd. is an architectural design company established in 1986. The
company is specialized in designing office environments and has finished several
projects in different locations in Finland and around Europe. The shareholders
of the company are architects SAFA Katri and Mikko Jaatinen.
The staff consists of approx. ten architects. The company does
not use any subcontractors in any field of planning.
The clients for Arkjaatiset Ltd. are the largest companies and developers in Finland
–such as Nokia, Nordea bank, Sponda, Senate Properties and Technopolis. Total gross area of buildings designed by Arkjaatiset Ltd is approximately
230.000 sqm new constructions and 160.000 sqm restorations.
Most assignments for Arkjaatiset Ltd. have been designing office- and R&D facilities.
Included in the designing of the office projects are numerous restaurants, health clinics
and training facilities for the personnel as well as high tech R&D laboratories.
All design work is done using sophisticated computer workstations in AutoCAD/Revit
environment.
Arkjaatiset Ltd is also specialized in 3D modelling and visualising all kind
of plans. Computer models of interiors, constructions or even entire blocks are first transformed
into realistic pictures and then on to real buildings that match the models.
